The scientific patronage for the GISTT Summit is taken over by the following two meetings that have been successfully established for Sarcoma and GIST research within the last years.
F O R T R E S S
is a non-profit, purely academic annual meeting initiated in 2019 and alternates between Leuven (Belgium) and Essen (Germany).
It is focused on translational research in all sarcomas and offers extensive networking opportunities to facilitate and cultivate collaborations within the sarcoma community.
FORTRESS2027 will take place on
February 3rd - 5th 2027 in Essen, Germany

S A S S c o n f e r e n c e
is the inaugural of an annual sarcoma conference: “Strategic Advances in Sarcoma Science” first held in September 2023.
SASS is focused on basic science and translational as well as clinical challenges. This collaborative conference aims for a fun and interactive workshop-like experience and is organized by SARC, the Sarcoma Alliance for Research through Collaboration.
